The approach to the underground requires one to DESCEND. The term is taken from the conventional practice of physical lowering to enter the subway; however, it is used even where the entrance is not a descent proper, and also to refer to the entrance into the ontological state of Underground.

When you lose your halo, you may choose to DESCEND to the underground.
